Discipleship with Ashley Brusenhan

To be a disciple of Jesus is to reorient your entire life around Him—His character, His teaching, His longing for the world to know Him and be redeemed. As Eugene Peterson reminds us, discipleship is “long obedience in the same direction.” It’s a steady, lifelong journey of learning and imitating Jesus: how He loved, how He listened, how He engaged the broken. As we move along this discipleship journey it will also overflow into those we love and lead. Whether you are new to the faith, or well-seasoned, we are all called to “make disciples.” We’ll jump into the practicals of personal discipleship to Jesus and how this plays out in the relationships that God puts around us. 

In this bonus session, we’ll explore what it means to walk in the way of Jesus as disciples and disciple-makers. We’ll look at how God calls us to enter into people’s lives with encouragement, truth, and grace—calling out identity, pointing to Jesus, and making space for others to grow. Together, we’ll consider how discipleship is lived out not only in big moments but in the ordinary rhythms of life—conversations, questions, mentoring, and everyday faithfulness.
