We are so excited to have you join us for Living Room Sessions! You have requested information on scholarships but before you jump into the application, we just want to make sure you know that we would never want finances to be a hindrance to you joining us. God has provided for every need since we began back in 2017, and we believe He will continue to!

As part of the scholarship process, we ask each applicant to thoughtfully consider inviting a handful (5-10) of friends, family members, or leaders in your life to partner with you by contributing toward your registration. Not only does this help offset costs, it also gives the people who love you a tangible way to invest in what God is doing in your life. You may be surprised how eager they are to say yes.

Please note that we are asking all attendees, regardless of scholarship amount granted, to pay a minimum of $200 to secure your spot. Please reach out to Meredith (meredith@youareconference.com), if there is any concern over the ability to cover the deposit.

Scholarships

Scholarships will be given for anyone in financial need, on a sliding scale based on your annual household income. Below you’ll see our sliding scale for reference. On your scholarship application you can let us know which bracket you fall within and any other details that might be helpful to let us know about your current financial need. We understand that there may be circumstances outside of your control that may be a factor outside of your annual household income - simply make note of that on your application. Please note that all attendees are required to pay a minimum of $200. To apply for a scholarship you can head here.

The Sliding Scale

  • Annual Household Income of
    $35,000 or less:
    $800 off the $1,000 fee

  • Annual Household Income of
    $35,001-50,000:
    $500 off the $1,000 fee

  • Annual Household Income of
    $50,001 to 75,000 or less:
    $250 off the $1,000 fee

  • Annual Household Income of
    $75,001 or more:
    as available

Payment Plans

We know that it can be helpful to break up your registration fee, so we are offering 3-month and 6-month payment plans for the remaining balance after your $200 deposit. The 3-month payment plan would be $267/month, while the 6-month payment plan is: $134/month. Payment plans will be set to start on the upcoming 1st of the month after your request is made, and will be due on the 1st each month until my balance is fully covered. As a reminder, Living Room Sessions Registration: $1000 and covers:

  • Lodging with individual bed in shared room, for 3 nights and 2 days at The Cooper Retreat in Round Top, Texas

  • 6 catered meals by on-site cook, snacks, and beverages throughout the weekend

  • Resources and materials all geared towards helping you engage with God during and after the retreat
