Laurie Wimberly

Laurie is passionate for pure hearted worship. She finds the treasures of knowing God in His Word and in singing the Psalms as her heart language. She resides in Bryan in her cozy casa where she finds life in hosting family and friends around the table, in backyard play, or in shared prayer and worship. She loves being married to her best friend for nearly a quarter of a century and raising their favorite people Eva and Ethan. The seasons are abundantly full with teens and transitions. She has served Bryan ISD for 23 years as a bilingual special educator to Pre-K and more recently as an Educational Diagnostician. Laurie loves the opportunity to partner with all things You Are including leading worship at LRS, serving alongside her teens with King Camp, and championing her friends that lead! Laurie is eager to play in all the waters of the world and her favorite thing is to share time, laughter, rest and joy with family and friends.
