Cynthia Berry

Cynthia Berry’s life and ministry are shaped first by her role as a devoted single mother. Raising her daughter, Brooke, and son, Sizwe, is her greatest earthly accomplishment—a testimony to God’s grace, strength, and faithful provision. Motherhood has deepened her faith and understanding of God’s heart for His people. This same devotion guides her calling to follow the Holy Spirit, ministering the love of Jesus and offering hope to the brokenhearted through His transforming presence.

Cynthia earned her Master of Theology in Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, with an emphasis in youth and family culture. Her academic preparation strengthened her biblical foundation and equipped her to serve diverse communities with wisdom and compassion. Cynthia is an ordained pastor through the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, reflecting her commitment to theological integrity and Spirit-led ministry.

For more than 20 years, Cynthia has provided pastoral care to churches, families, individuals, and at-risk youth. She embraces ministry beyond traditional settings—entering homes, workplaces, and personal spaces where people live, grieve, hope, and seek God. As a traveling preacher and speaker, she brings prayer, encouragement, and biblical counsel directly to those she serves, whether meeting in person, virtually, or by phone.

Her ministry also extends globally. She has traveled to Peru, Haiti, and Guyana for missionary outreach, pastoral care, training, and preaching. Journeys to Israel and Ireland opened sacred moments, including delivering a devotional on the Mount of Olives and blessing the grounds of a 1,600-year-old church ruin.

Cynthia’s nonprofit experience spans more than three decades, including roles with World Impact, Rescue Mission Alliance, and the Bresee Foundation. She also serves at Joni and Friends, where she has worked for more than 17 years and currently serves as Director of Spiritual Formation and Care.

A steady advocate for marginalized communities, Cynthia is the Founder and CEO of Sinsau Ministries Inc., supporting emancipated youth transitioning out of foster care.

As a dynamic preacher, teacher, and speaker, she engages intergenerational, interdenominational audiences—including Pentecostal, Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran and Non-Denominational communities; Christian schools; mothers of children with disabilities; Alcoholics Anonymous men’s groups; and most recently, the 2025 Christian Leadership Alliance Conference in Dallas, Texas.

In every assignment, Pastor Cynthia’s calling is obedience, remaining committed to the leading of the Holy Spirit as she serves with compassion and integrity, declaring the hope of Jesus Christ.
