Bethany Sleebos
Bethany Sleebos is a wife, mom, business owner, and dance instructor who has loved dance since she was five years old. A College Station native, Bethany began dancing at Suzanne’s School of Dance and later went on to dance professionally with Ad Deum Dance Company, performing and teaching throughout the United States and internationally.
In 2009, Bethany followed God’s call to the Netherlands, where she helped launch Arise Dance School & Company through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). It was there that she met her husband, Patrick. In 2013, God called them home to College Station to carry on the legacy of Suzanne’s School of Dance, where they now serve more than 400 families.
Bethany’s greatest passion is using dance as an expression of worship and creating spaces where dancers can discover that their gifts are not simply talents to develop, but gifts to surrender to God. She believes dance can be a beautiful way to encounter Jesus, tell His story, and bring His love and truth to others. She is also the founder of A Chance to Dance BCS, a local nonprofit providing dance scholarships to children in the Brazos Valley.
Bethany is honored to serve as the Director of Talitha Dance Company, ministering through dance each year at the You Are Women’s Conference alongside her Talitha sisters. She considers it one of her greatest joys to watch God use their surrendered hearts and movement to speak to others and make way for His presence.
Her favorite role of all is being mom to Jayden, Josiah, and Jocelyn. Bethany’s heart is to see the next generation know who they are in Jesus, discover the gifts God has placed inside of them, and find the joy of using those gifts to worship Him and bring His Kingdom to earth.
